About Us

Our adventure

Our family business was born in Pantelleria, the black pearl of the Mediterranean, in Italy. The company was founded in 2010 right in Pantelleria, where we were born and where we live.

We were enthusiastic and driven by love for the island where we were born and a shared passion for perfumes and the sea. After a day at sea on a boat, with the colors of the sea and sky still in our eyes, then walking slowly through our countryside, fragrant with oregano, capers, rosemary, and dried grapes, among terraces and wild shrub bushes, we told ourselves that we wanted to feel this way every day: relaxed, at peace with ourselves and others, in the midst of nature and filled with wonderful scents.
 
The scent of capers.
The idea of a bottle containing the essence of the sea and capers came to us from the sea itself and from a field of caper plants.
Thus, recalling the scent of the blooming caper plant and inspired by that magical fragrance, by sketching simple lines, we imagined a label and designed our emblem which encapsulates the sea, the boat, and the mythical elephant rock that is renowned worldwide.

 

The challenge continues
As a family-owned Italian company, an expression of our local culture and artisanal tradition, we have grown by staying true to ourselves in a global market. With tenacity, we have faced many difficulties to continue our endeavor. We have placed human relationships and the environment at the heart of all our commitments.

A venture impossible in many ways.

Realizing the dream, making the idea concrete, and starting the business was not easy. Creating a perfume company from scratch on a rock in the Mediterranean Sea seemed like an impossible feat. We started with the idea in 2010, and from there it took several years to register our brand and begin creating our perfumes.

Since then, we have continued to grow with distribution in many stores and online.

We have remained steadfast on the island of Pantelleria, loving, valuing, and respecting our people and our territory. Over the years, we have taken direct responsibility and undertaken concrete actions to make our company, as well as our island, sustainable through structured and shared pathways.

We want to continue doing so, and always better, to continue bringing beauty to everyone.

is a niche perfume brand, founded in 2010, and operating in the production of its own perfumes since 2015, aiming to offer exceptional products that reflect the scents of our land. From the beginning, our team has combined the expertise of e-commerce and marketing specialists. This fusion of skills and passion for the world of fragrances gave birth to the unique brand Essenza di Pantelleria, where you will find our iconic and prestigious perfumes.

Our mission is to guarantee quality and care for every customer. We collaborate only with verified suppliers to ensure authenticity and high standards for our products. Each perfume is hand-packaged, and is shipped from Pantelleria, and is   subjected to rigorous checks to offer maximum satisfaction and the certainty of  offering  the best.
